Hello Everyone!! I know it's been a late start to my own challenge, but I wanted to kick it off with a re-done oldie! This is the third year in a row I create this mani for the Christmas Song prompt of my 12 Days of Christmas Challenge, inspired by Silent Night, but i just couldn't help myself ;). Plus, I recorded a whole new video! So... anytime I recreate something of mine, I feel absolutely mortified, and for good reason.. especially now! I haven't been practicing my detailing skills as frequently as I should, and you'd think, after three tries, I'd have the best version by now! Well, the original is still my favorite, but I can't deny that I just really like this mani! And, honestly this is my mani that has been recreated the most by others!! Here's the one from Christmas 2014: And here's my original from Christmas 2013! Even though I used the same blue polish as my base for all three, I feel like they look a bit different! Of course, my camera and lighting have changed over the years! If you're interested in the polishes, and supplies used in this year's mani, please check out my YouTube video: **Please note: I lost some video files so I thought I would mention some steps that were left out. You will understand them after watching the video: -After finishing the gradient, I sponged on a bit of Stardust Polish "Back Seat Bingo" to just above where the black polish blends into the blue -After that, I applied a coat of Seche Vite top coat, before painting anything with acrylic paint. What do you think? Which one do you like more? The original one, right??? I KNEW It! (hehe)
