Hello Everyone! Today I wanted to share with you my mani for “Snow” theme for my 12 Days of Christmas Challenge! I had so much fun creating this, and I am absolutely loving how it turned out!
So for this mani, I wanted to create something soft, but cold looking at the same time. I wanted to incorporate layers of snowflakes to create some sort of dimension, and give it a layered look.

To achieve this I sponged on a silver polish base (OPI: Push and Shove) gradient up from my tips. Then I used a silver, chunky, holo glitter (KB Shimmer: Ice Queen) and sponged that on to the tips of my nails. Then I used blue acrylic pain and painted out my snowflakes using a thin detailing brush.

After that was finished, I sponged on very sheer white polish (China Glaze: White on White mixed with Seche Vite Top Coat) gradient until I was happy with the amount and effect. Then, I drew on the final snowflakes using white acrylic paint. After all this, I applied two coats of top coat to smooth it all out.

I was not able to capture the glitter that sparkled through the layers of paint, but I promise… it was very pretty. If you know holo sparkle, (and I think you do), you know what I mean ;).

I really feel like it’s safe to say that this is what Queen Elsa’s nails would look like if she were real! Don’t you think? Hehe ;). And using KB Shimmer's Ice Queen could not have been more appropriate!!!

Well, hope you enjoyed this! Thanks for reading!
