Hey y'all! This is So tinsel! I'm so excited to have been asked by Mely to guest on her blog for this 12 Days of Christmas Challenge!  My theme was Christmas Movie. Now I know my design is more a short than a movie, but it was the first thing that popped in my head when I received my theme and I really love this short a lot! It's Prep & Landing! f you don't know Prep & Landing it's a story of a couple elves who prep each house for santa to arrive. They make sure kids are asleep, that presents will fit under the trees, and the roof top is ready for the sleigh to land. Wayne: "Have you ever wondered how it all gets done? How Santa gets in and out of millions of homes all in one night? Let's just say he has a little help. The operation has its challenges, but we're always prepared. Our mission statement is: Get in. Get out. Never be noticed. I'm part of Prep and Landing, an elite unit of elves getting houses ready, around the world, for the big guy's arrival." I started off with a blue base color (Pure Ice "Bikini") and added some blue glitter on top (Pure Ice "Sparkling Seas). Then I added some white dots with a dotting tool to represent snow! I then painted Wayne and Lanny, the two prep elves, along with Magee the head elf in charge of the control center. Also I couldn't leave out Tiny! The smallest elf, who you only see his hat boppin around! gol!   Note: I used waaaaay too many polishes to list for the rest of the design. But if you have any specific questions about colors I may be able to answer them. I also had to get the logo title in there on my thumb! Not the best but I still like the outcome. And yes my nail is broken boo :( That darn corner really hates me, gol! I just love this "movie" so much!
I did not film a tutorial for this as it's really difficult to film and do detail like this, but I hope y'all enjoy them all just the same! I had a lot of fun paintin' these, and it was an honor to be asked to join in the fun! Have a Jolly Christmas!
