Hello Everyone! Pamela [IG@pamelapomelo] here! It's my first guest post ever and I admire Mely's nail designs so much <3 so I am super happy to be here! This is my favorite season of the year: I love the ornaments, the hot and yummy beverages, the smells, the snow (even though we don't get any snow where I live!), and the beautiful Christmas inspired sweaters. Back in December 2012, when I was just getting started in the whole nail art thing, my very first Christmas design was a Christmas sweater. I havent done a proper one since then, though I must confess sweater prints are my favorite Christmas nail designs. When Mely told me about her 12 Days of Christmas challenge I was very excited to do sweater nails, so I took the best Christmas-y colors (red and white) and nude and then I got carried away! I used a large and thin brush to paint all the lines and then the details. I knew I wanted some reindeers, but I wasn't feeling too confident on my hand painting skills... ... so instead I did a decal! I used stamping plate QA57 from Born Pretty Store, my stamper also from BPS and red and white stamping nail polishes from Mundo de Uñas. Then I did the stamping decal method and placed them where I wanted. Same for the snowflakes! Except for that, I painted all the details :) The polishes I used for this design were Don't pretzel my buttons by OPI, French tip by Color Club and Sea's the day by China Glaze. When I saw the finished design, it reminded me of someone who was wearing a Christmas sweater, too.. It was this little snowman! One of my favorite Christmas decorations around the house <3 I thought that since we were so matchy-matchy, we should have a photo together! Well, this is the end of my post. I hope you like my design! And thank you so much Mely, for inviting me! <3
Lots of love, Pamela
