Oh my goodness... oh, this is real goodness! The twinkle. The sparkle. So perfect for the holidays. The deets: This collection consists of tinted bases packed with super shiny silver metallic flakes and subtle holo glitter. It's described as subtle, but in direct light, it really shines through. These 3 polishes are super sparkly! Please watch the video if you haven't. The flakes really give off a foil metallic shimmer, and because they're all in a jelly base, you get some depth. Overall, though, it's really shiny foil. The formula was smooth and easy to apply. They all required two coats for full opacity. So let's talk about the top coat. I'm gonna get real specific right now. Because they are metallic-y flakes, they will give off a foil effect. I did two coats of top coat, because with one, it was still slightly bumpy. When the second coat of top coat dried, I thought it still appeared to be bumpy, BUT, it wasn't. When I shone the light through the surface of the nail, I could see it was smooth, but because the glitter underneath reflects light so strongly, it made it seem like maybe my top coat wasn't smooth. This is in no way a bad thing, at least not to me. Just a super close observation. There is too much sparkle to really have that be bothersome.
