Hello everyone! I am finally feeling up to blogging. I have had a good and much needed rest from my blog, but I am kicking it back in with such a gorgeous collection. All I can say is that this collection was just so beautiful... every last color!

Sara from Cupcake Polish has done it again... I can speak of the collection as a whole as far as formula, application, etc. and so forth. The following is in reference to all 6 polishes in the collection:
These are richly pigmented, polishes that shift from a gold metallic, to a linear holographic (at least that's what it looks like to me). Application was very smooth. Self leveling was great. Dry time is fast. Each polish required only 2 thin coats for full opacity. Each swatch is 2 coats plus top coat. There were no issues noted with application.

This collection is called "Modern Vampire" which consists of 5 polishes, available on September 26 at 11:00 am US Central time at www.cupcakepolish.com (ships worldwide).
Cupcake Polish: Down For the Count.

Sandy gold with a hint of caramel.
Cupcake Polish: Coffin Break

Dark brown. I LOVED this one!! Can't wait to wear this again. I definitely feel that these photos don't do this color any justice. however, I love how you can see the gold really well in the close-up, and in the bottle. It really adds dimension to the polishes.
Cupcake Polish: Bat-chelor pad

A deep and gorgeous blue polish! I actually did one careful coat on my ring finger, and it was just as opaque as two thin coats on the rest of my fingers :).

Cupcake Polish: Re-vamped

Dark teal polish that reminds me of emeralds, actually. This is definitely more green than blue. It's so deep and gorgeous!

Cupcake Polish: Blood Hound

Why do I always leave my favorite to last?  ;). I just really love the excitement. Let's just say my husband liked this color and actually commented that it's really nice and different (and I have shown him a lot many polishes, of which I am sure he thinks most are the same in "pretty factor"). So there's that... and here's this:
My favorites are usually never in the red family, but this one is just sooooo pretty!
