Hello friends! Today I'd like to share with you some information on this wonderful polish brand! If you are into polish that is enhanced with natural treatments, this is the polish for you!

PS Cosmeceutical was started in 2012 by Dr, Kelly and Ms. Grotkin.

Dr. Kelly has been a licensed podiatrist, practicing since 1999, and Ms Grotkin is a biochemist with experience in pharmaceuticals. Together they were able to achieve producing a polish that is natural and non-toxic by adding Grapefruit Seed Extract for its antimicrobia/antifungal benefits.

Dream Polish is 10-Free. What does that mean? It contains No Toluene, No Formaldehyde, No Formaldehyde resin, No Camphor, No Lead, No Paraban, No Xylene, No Ethyl Tosylamide, No Triphenyl Phosphate (TPHP), No hazardous Phthalates.

It is also vegan, not tested on animals, and made in the USA.

You can find all this information and more on their website, PSpolish.com

They were kind enough to send me two of their gift sets: The Starter Kit, and the PS Recovery Pack for me to review, so I will be sharing my experiences.

Dream Polish by PS Cosmeceutical: Starter Kit

This kit comes with Infused* Base Coat, Infused* Nail Lacquer in "Dream", and Top Coat. Each bottle contains 10mL of product. The bottles are cylindrical with a black matte top that feels fairly light.
  • Infused* Base Coat: Formula is not thin, goes on smooth, and self-levels really well.
  • Infused* Nail Lacquer in "Dream": A bright red cream polish. The formula in this is like no other cream I have tried. It's amazingly thin and almost weightless, however, it is not runny! It became fully opaque in 2 coats. It went on smooth and I had no issues with self-leveling or dry time.
  • Top Coat: This top coat for me was just too thin. I couldn't find a way to show you photos of just how thin it felt, but I did note it just wasn't as high shine as the top coat in the other pack was ;).

Dream Polish by PS Cosmeceutical: Recovery Pack

This kit comes with: Infused* Ridge Filler, Infused* Nail Hardener, and Protective Top Coat. Again, each bottle contains 10mL of product. The bottles are cylindrical with a black matte top that feels fairly light.
  • Infused* Ridge Filler: Can be worn on its own, recommended 2 coats, or be used as a base coat, recommended 1-2 coats under lacquer. I noted ultra smooth application with ridge filling properties. I don't have any kind of ridges on my nails, but I could note that it settled very nicely. This is promoted as "hydrating, and prevents brittleness and breakage." I did not wear this long enough to test its affect on my nails, but I just thought I should mention what they state the benefits are.
  • Infused* Nail Hardener: Can be worn on its own, recommended 2 coats, or be used as a base coat, recommended 1-2 coats under lacquer. This I actually wore on my nails on its own for a few days. I was impressed to find that there was ZERO cracking or peeling of the product with wear. It's hard for me to keep a mani for any expanded period of time because of swatching... I typically use acetone to clean up between swatches on my left hand, so even my right hand is exposed to it. Anytime I have polish on my right hand, I remove it before starting so I don't have a mess everywhere. With this treatment, I did not remove it on my right hand prior to a swatching session, and even though the acetone did remove the polish from my tips, the rest of it stayed put. I decided to test out how that would wear, and honestly, after 3 days, there was still no peeling or cracking. So I am definitely looking forward to wearing this as a base for my manis in the future.
  • Protective Top Coat: In my opinion, this is the top coat to use from the two I tried. This was definitely thicker than the one in the starter kit, went on smooth, and was super glossy! (I wore with the red lacquer in pic above).
