Hello everyone! Today I have a fun mani for you. I had been wanting to work a bit more on recording tutorials so I made a You Tube video tutorial for the accent nail! Ohhh... and I finally rounded my nails!! Eeep! :)

Dry Marble Drag Nail Art Mani - Tutorial

For this mani I used all Bonita Colors polishes. On the accent nail I used Mermaid Secrets, Pink Posey, Lilac Fields, Banana-ana, and This Beach is Bombay. The yellow on my index and middle fingers is Banana-ana (2 coats with no white undie), and the purple on my pinky is Lilac FIelds (one coat). This is a look I definitely LOVED!!! Check out more colors at IG @bonitacolors.
I have to say I love this yellow! It looks gorgeous in the bottle, and better on my nails. It's not a neon, but it's very bright, and the formula is fantastic. I could've gotten away with 1 coat, but did 2 coats for full opacity!

Check out the video tutorial on YouTube, and details below:
(please excuse the quality, as the lighting was not purple before uploading. I am currently working on improving my recording equipment)
What is great is that you can pick any color combination for this look!
TIps:
  • Pick your lightest color and use that as a base. Wait for it to be completely dry before you start adding horizontal lines with the other polishes.
  • As you build up your horizontal lines, make sure you apply enough polish as seen in the video so you have enough polish to drag.
  • The brush I used in this video is one that I purchased at Michael's Arts & Crafts Store. I love it! It is actually a really good brush for detailing, after some trimming of course. It is La Corneille 7350 Liner in 10/0. I definitely recommend it.
  • As you drag, try to not apply too much pressure, so there's no balding created.
  • Wait for all polish to be dry before it top coating so you don't get any dragging.

Please let me now if you have any questions about the tutorial in the comments!!
