Hello Everyone! Today I have a special limited edition collection from KB Shimmer to share! For the month of February, KB Shimmer has collaborated with the Facebook group "Hella Holo Customs" to bring you four awesome polishes!!  Firstly, I'd like to share some information about the HHC Facebook group. This is a wonderful group in which there are two guest polish makers each month that create polishes based off of inspirational photos that are voted by the group members. KB Shimmer: Deep Hue Sea Linear holo with shimmer inspired by the fuchsia shades and shadows of the sunset. This is a dark grey, almost black, tinted base with micro linear holo glitter and pink shimmer. The pink shifty shimmer gives this a purplish appearance. Depending on the lighting, at times you can see it more black, and with others, you can really see the pop of purple-pink shift. Formula was very smooth and easy to apply, with great self-leveling. Dry time was very fast. By the time I was done with my last finger, the first finger I swatched was already dry. This only took two coats for full opacity, and I did not have any issues with bald or streakiness. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat.  KB Shimmer: Tall Pink Of Water Linear holo inspired by the flashes fuchsia and magenta tones of the sunset. This is very much an ultra linear holo that shines bright, even in lower lighting! Again, formula was very smooth and easy to apply, with great self-leveling. Dry time was very fast. By the time I was done with my last finger, the first finger I swatched was already dry. This only took two coats for full opacity. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat.  KB Shimmer: Shoe The Blues Away A classic sapphire blue linear holo. This is a deep and rich blue polish, that is highly pigmented, so I did notice as I cleaned up my cuticles, a bit of staining (which is not out of the ordinary for such pigmented blue hues). With clean-up, it was easy enough to remove with some acetone. The formula was a bit thicker than the rest of the collection, but it was still smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was quick and there were no issues with self-leveling. This was almost fully opaque in one coat, depending on how thick you apply it, but I did 2 coats to even out any lighter areas. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat.  KB Shimmer: None of Your Bismuth This is a MUST-HAVE! This is a multi-chrome with shift from a teal green, to aqua steel-ish blue, to fuchsia pink and purple, depending on the lighting. On top of that, you have the strong linear holo sparkle!! This was inspired by a photo of crystal with a metallic rainbow of colors. Okay, when I saw the pictures from the inspiration photos, I knew I'd love this. When I received this in the mail and opened the package, I knew I'd love this and couldn't wait to swatch. Once this was on my nails, it was every bit of awesomeness that I expected, so I was ecstatic to see this in action. The formula was very smooth and easy to apply, with great self-leveling. Dry time was very fast. By the time I was done with my last finger, the first finger I swatched was already dry. This only took two coats for full opacity. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. Any streaks that show up on the photos are hardly visible in person.   These gorgeous polishes will be available for a limited time, starting 2/14/17 on KB Shimmer's website here.
