Hello everyone! Today I have an exciting collection from KB Shimmer to share with you today. The new Fall collection features 14 shades, 12 of which are blogger collaborations... Lets jump in. This collection has already launched and is available for purchase at kbshimmer.com, and at amazon.com, This collection is the first to feature KB Shimmer's new 5-free base, and will retail for $9.25 per bottle. The collection consists of 1 ultra linear holographic polish, 1 glitter jelly, 1 glitter crelly with shimmer, 2 cream polishes, 3 holo micro glitte polishes, 3 shimmer creams, and finally 3 shimmers with holo glow flakes (one of which is a multichrome). WOW! Love the extensive details in this collection, thanks to Christy from KB Shimmer, and as well as to all the talented ladies that collaborated to come up with all these beautiful shades. In general, seeing this collection as a whole, I see a lot of rich colors, which is in tune with the Fall season. However, a lot of these shades can also be used throughout the year. There are also quite a few stunners, in my opinion. ...and just to avoid redundancy, even though formulas may be different because of the different finishes, they were all smooth and easy to apply. I had no trouble with any of them self-leveling or drying too slow. they were all fantastic. KB Shimmer: Pearls Gone Wild This collaboration shade is brought to you by Amy from McPolish. This is a silver holo glitter polish with pinky red shimmer that shifts to copper and gold. I know the name of this is in reference to pearls, but my goodness! I feel like I have crushed precious stones on my nails. STUNNING! I actually think that if you're in a pinch, one coat of this is good, because there is so much going on with this glitter, however I did 2 coats for the swatches. if you look really close, maybe you can see my nail line peeking through, but it's hardly noticeable. This is loaded with micro glitter, so you will need 2 coats of top coat to get it super glossy, as one doesn't completely remove the texture. Shown is 2 coats plus 1 coat of top coat. KB Shimmer: High-Rise to the Occasion This collaboration shade is brought to you by Michelle from Ehmkay Nails, This is a light gray color with violet shimmer and rainbow metallic flakes. The shimmer in this is subtle, but still gives it a nice sheen. The rainbow metallic flakies are my favorite thing about this. I love how you catch glimpses of the different colors as the light hits them. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. KB Shimmer: I Don't Want No Shrubs This collaboration shade is brought to you by Jen from My Nail Polish Obsession. This is a hot pink polish filled with micro golden flakes and shimmer. I tallied this one as a cream shimmer, but it might just be crelly. If you love hot barbie pinks, this one will be right up your ally. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. KB Shimmer: Stop and Smell the Rosé This is a softly pink, near copper shade linear holographic polish, and I mean, this is ultra holo. This soft pink shade seems to be popping up a bit this Fall... actually, if I remember correctly, even last Fall it was all over pinterest, or was that just me? It's a soft pink, but definitely has some dark rose undertones, and the copper shimmer in it is so pretty. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. KB Shimmer: Pun-kin Spice Latte This collaboration shade is brought to you by Valesha from Peachy Polish. This is a terracotta shade crème filled with a subtle copper shimmer. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat! KB Shimmer: Oh My Gourd A creamy butterscotch shade made for fall. Oh my goodness, I love this color! Perfect rich Fall shade example! Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. KB Shimmer: Espresso Yourself This collaboration shade is brought to you by Gaby from LacquerLoon. This is a rich brown shade filled with copper and gold holographic micro glitters. Another stunner! This is loaded with micro glitter, so you will need 2 coats of top coat to get it super glossy, as one doesn't completely remove the texture. Shown is 2 coats plus 2 coats of top coat. KB Shimmer: Olive Or Twist This collaboration shade is brought to you by Mishra from Nail It Lovely. This is a deepened olive color, with holo glow flakes and a golden flash shimmer that shines in the light. Like, seriouslu, it's so glowy! This really surprised me. Another shade I am loving this fall is olive green polishes. I love everything about this, the shiftiness, and especially that gold flash. This surprised me in how opaque it was in the first coat, but I did 2 coats just to completely cover up any patches. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. KB Shimmer: #squadghouls This collaboration shade is brought to you by Holly from Miss Holly Berries. This is a deepened olive jelly filled with glitters that shift in orange, green and gold. Another gorgeous olive green color. First off, this is a jelly so it needs to build up. I really think you can do 2 coats of this and be fine. With 2 coats, the color was more green. Shown is 3 coats, which is quite dark. Honestly, I love it both ways and I love that you can build it up as you'd like. The glitters in this are so pretty. You have iridescent glitters that are glowy and shift at different angles. I tried really hard to capture the color, especially the red, but any time my camera was in perfect focs, the color would get lost, so, it's a little blurry. Shown is 3 coats plus top coat. KB Shimmer: Northern Frights This collaboration shade is brought to you by Judy from Beauty Judy. This polish shifts from an emerald green, to a deep indigo purple, to an almost navy, and has glow holo flakes. The green is the most dominant of the colors, ranging from teal to grass green. The other colors are visible at different angles/lighting. I mean, without a doubt, this is a gorgeous polish. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. KB Shimmer: Better Lake Than Never This collaboration shade is brought to you by Alicia from Delishious Nails. This is a teal blue filled with holo glow flakes and a turquoise shimmer. I mean, you can see the glow, right? The glow is strong with this one ;). STUNNING!. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. KB Shimmer: Peach For the Sky This collaboration shade is brought to you by Antoinette from aricedotcom. This is a sky blue creamy shade loaded with a peachy copper shimmer. The description for this is spot on! The formula to me was on the sheer side, so I did need 3 coats for full opacity. KB Shimmer: Let's Fang Out This collaboration shade is brought to you by Sam from Sam Nailed It. This is a cream polish is almost a plum color, with hints of maroon and aubergine. I mean, it's rich, it's dark, and it's vampy... check, check, check! Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. KB Shimmer: Lady and the Vamp This collaboration shade is brought to you by Lisa from Cosmetic Sanctuary. This is a plum color Mega Flame polish with hints of maroon and aubergine. Another stunner. This is such a rich and deep, sparkly color. Again, this is loaded with micro glitter, so you will need 2 coats of top coat to get it super glossy, as one doesn't completely remove the texture. Shown is 2 coats plus 1 coat of top coat. Thanks for reading! <3 Mely
