Hello Friends! Today, kicking off the holiday season, I have a part of the KB Shimmer Winter/Holiday 2016 Collection. This collection consists of 16 new shades, and the return of 2 favorites! Today I have 8 of the new shades to share with you. Make sure you keep on reading, and watch the live swatch video to see all the sparkliness in action!

KB Shimmer: Get To The Poinsettia

​​Linear holographic bright red polish! I feel this polish was almost opaque in one coat, but 2 coats definitely gave it it's true color. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Self-leveling was great, and no issues noted with dry time. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat.

KB Shimmer: Spruce Things Up

​This is the perfect green to compliment the red linear holo from the collection. This is a mid tone green jelly polish with micro holo and silver glitters. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Self-leveling was great, and no issues noted with dry time. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat.

KB Shimmer: Bling In The New Year

​This is definitely one of my favorites from the collection! This has flakies in different colors including magenta, green, gold, and blue in it's metallic silver flakes and scattered micro holographic glitter. Because of all of the sparkliness, I feel like it's almost fully opaque in one coat, but you do need 2 coats to cover your nail line. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Self-leveling was great, and no issues noted with dry time. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat.

KB Shimmer: Yeti Or Not

​If textured polish is something you like, this one is for you! This is a pale grey textured polish loaded with iridescent and holographic glitters. This is definitely reminiscent of snow! I feel like, depending on the look you are going for, you could wear this in 2 or three coats, however, I did 3 coats for full opacity. Formula was smooth and easy to apply, but noted a bit thicker than other polishes on this collection, however this was not difficult to work with. No issues noted with dry time. Shown is 3 coats on its own to showcase texture, which definitely reminds me of glistening snow. I loved this one so much I actually kept this on and wore for a couple of days!

KB Shimmer: Just Duvet It

​This is a grape jelly polish with a hint of copper/pink shimmer and with scattered holographic glitters. The shimmer is very noticeable on the nail, and gives it such a pretty depth. Formula was on the thicker side and goes on slightly streaky, but still smooth and easy to apply. Self-leveling was great and all streaks were completely gone by the second coat. No issues noted with dry time. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat.

KB Shimmer: Take Me For Granite

​Ahhh! I am in love! I love crellies and this one is so perfect!. This is a pale grey crelly with black, grey, and silver glitters in different sizes. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Self-leveling was great, and no issues noted with dry time. Shown is 3 coats plus top coat.

KB Shimmer: Whiskey Business

​This is a yellow gold metallic polish loaded with super sparkly flakies and holographic glitter! Definitely a shade of gold used to stand out in. I only needed 1 coat for full opacity. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Self-leveling was great, and no issues noted with dry time. Shown is 1 coat plus top coat.

KB Shimmer: Royal To A Fault

​A flakie polish that mostly shows blue, but shifts to purple in different angles and lighting. ​Formula was  on the thicker side but still smooth and easy to apply. Self-leveling was great, and no issues noted with dry time. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat.
