Hello everyone! Today I have for you some polishes from Leesha's Lacquer. This is the first time I have heard of this brand. Going through her shop, I can see that her polishes are fun with interesting glitter combinations! Today I have half of her newest collection "Winter is Coming" to share with you. Well to get things started, the collection actually consists of 4 metallic polishes and 4 glitter polishes in a clear base. The whole collection is available for pre-order now. The official release date is April 14, 2015. Leesha's Lacquer is Handmade, 5-free, and vegan. Please visit IG @leeshaslacquer for full details. First I'd like to start with "Red Wedding," a gorgeous deep plum metallic polish. I really loved the color of this polish and how it looked on my nails. It's got some micro blue and pink dust glitters, along with micro gold glitters. You can see if you click on the close-up below. Application was good, however, I do have to disclose that the bottle was slightly open, and a tiny bit of the polish was spilled as I received it. The polish still applied very well and reached full opacity in 2 coats. Dry time was average, and self-leveling was good. Shown is two coats plus top coat. The slight streaks shown don't show up in person as strongly as in the photo. Next I have "Wild as Fire," a green metallic glitter with blue micro glitters. This polish was the thicker of the two metallics. Metallics can sometimes be tricky to apply because the brush can leave streaks, which was the case with this polish, so you do need a steady hand. I thought this polish might bubble as it dried, but it actually self-leveled nicely. The glitters in this polish were very hard to capture. Again, dry time was average and the streaks that show in the photo don't show up as strongly in person. Shown is two coats plus top coat. I really loved the two glitter polishes I received from this collection. These glitters are jam packed with micro silver holographic glitter. The glitter polishes applied nicely, and dried much faster than the metallic polishes. After drying, there were only slight bumps in the glitter that were easily smoothed out with one coat of top coat. First from the glitters, I have "Winter is Coming," which has the micro silver holographic glitters, small gold holographic glitter, and small blue glitter that shifts into a light blue, then greenish color. Shown is one coat over a black polish base. Lastly, I have my favorite from these, "Mother of Dragons," which has the micro silver holographic glitters, small gold holographic glitter, and small iridescent glitter. The blue glitters you see are actually the reflection of the iridescent glitters against the black polish base color. This is so pretty, and can go over so many polish colors! Shown is one coat over a black base, plus top coat. Thank you for reading!
