Hello friends! Today I have a new brand of polish to share with you, from the makers of Oribe Beauty. They have recently branched out into nail polish, with a line called "The Lacquer", and for that I have their first three shades, The Nude, The Violet, and The Red. Firstly, Oribe Beauty is a brand with a wide range of beauty products, including hair and skin products, make-up, and now polish. It's very easy to feel luxurious when seeing and feeling these bottles! The shape, contour, and bottle details are very attractive. Even thought the cap is a bit thick, it is not heavy, and not difficult to work with. The bottom line: I love the choice of bottle. I love that it's unique, and I love that it looks so luxurious. Another great feature from this polish brand is the brush that it comes with. It's wide, tapered, and soft! Oribe describes it's lacquer as "ultra-long-wear polish with resin complex which extends longevity of wear and increases shine." It's important to note that this formula is 8-free. I did not test the wear of this polish, but I can say that all three creams were shiny. I did immediately swatch The Red on my dominant hand's thumb over a gel polish I was already wearing when I first received it (I couldn't contain the excitement when I received it), I did not top coat it, and it did not chip for the 4 days I wore it over that gel polish. Oribe: The Red A gorgeous classic deep red polish, that was almost a one coater for me. The second coat just really deepened the color. Application was smooth and easy to apply. No issues noted with dry time. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. Oribe: The Nude This is a warm-toned nude cream polish. Not sure how great it looks against my skin tone, but it's still a great polish. Application was smooth and easy to apply. No issues noted with dry time. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. Oribe: The Violet And now we arrive to my favorite of the three colors, The Violet. This color is deep and vibrant! Application was smooth and easy to apply. No issues noted with dry time. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. If you are interested in any of these polishes, you can purchase them at Oribe.com Thank you, for stopping by! <3 Mely
