Hello Friends! Today I have some beautiful Spring colors for you from Pink Gellac's Blossom Collection for Spring 2016, and you're going to love the juiciness!! This Collection has me swooning! The colors are so gorgeous. When I first opened the package and took the bottles out, I thought the polishes were looking a little too dark for a Spring collection. This assumption was based on the colors on the labels on the actual bottle, but I am learning to take these labels as a guide to what's inside gel polish bottles. As you can see, these colors are truly perfect for Spring. I really cannot decide which one is my favorite, as I was really impressed with all of them! Be warned, I love every color, so I may repeat myself a lot ;) The application of each of the polishes was smooth, with even application, and no problems with curing. I want to mention that I love their brush, which is different from older bottles, so this is definitely a new feature. It's a wide brush, but not too wide, and the corners are rounded, or tapered, which made application a dream! I'm telling you, I am just so impressed. I will talk about how many coats each took to reach opacity with each polish, as some of those differ. No matter the coats, though, all application was smooth. Swatches shown are with no top coat, so you can see the glossiness :). Pink Gellac: Gorgeous Green I did not expect this color at all! Wow! That was my reaction as I was applying this green. It's such a creamy pastel lime green, and I love it! As I swatched this, I noted a tiny amount of micro shimmer which I don't believe is meant to be evident, but to add to the effect of the glossy finish in the polish. Swatch is 3 thin and easy coats. Pink Gellac: Brilliant Blue Oh pastel blue, you are too beautiful! This is the color I imagine think of a sky blue . This polish was pretty sheer, so I did four thin coats, but it worked so well. I was afraid it would come off too thick, or look lumpy, but as you can see, none of that happened. Again, this is four thin coats, with no top coat. Pink Gellac: Precious Lila This color... I love it! Another pastel that is just perfect! This gel polish was the most opaque, and reached opacity in two coats! This polish also had the tiny shimmer in it, only it was just slightly more prominent than Gorgeous Green. Still, It is not a noticeable sheen, but just adds to the juiciness of the color. Pink Gellac: Rosy Pink Another gorgeous color! This rosy pastel has a slight hint of brightness to it, in my opinion, and it just looks stunning! Shown is three thin coats. When I applied the first coat, it looked like a very good polish that can be used for French manicures, as it has a nice tint of rosy pink. It lays on evenly, so I think it could definitely work. Pink Gellac: Charming Nude This color is so beautiful! (I told you I'd be repeating myself). It's such a gorgeous nude shade, with a prominent peach tone to it! Absolutely gorgeous!. Swatch is three coats. I also wanted to share, that besides loving the brush in the bottle, I also love that it has the curing times right in the front of the bottles, where it is easily view-able! Another great feature, which is new with this collection, is the fact that the color of the polish is at the top of the cap, as you can see below! So even though the label on the bottle might not be color accurate, you can see how the polish compares to the bottle cap! I really love this. Here's a re-cap on the Pink Gellac Brand:
Pink Gellac is a European based, soak-off gel polish, set to last 14+ days without chipping or peeling. For those who may not know, gel polish is a type of polish that only cures, or dries, with the use of a lamp that is especially made to cure gel products. This particular polish brand can be cured with either a UV lamp, or an LED lamp. The polishes fully cured with the designated 60 seconds under my LED lamp. Pink Gellac is a European gel nail polish available in the US through Chickette's Boutique, and available on their European site here.
