Hello Friends! Today I have the new Spring 2017 Pink Gellac soak-off gel polish collection, which consists of 7 colors! I always love Spring collections because I love pastel polishes, however, I love that this collection is more about pops of color, definitely leaning towards more floral tones of the season! It's so refreshing to see :).There are five vibrant colors, and two that I consider palate cleansers! Pink Gellac: Bubblegum Pink Wow! Starting off with a stunning shade. This is a bright medium pink. The formula went on really smooth and evenly. This color is so saturated that it almost feels like it could be considered a neon. It's such a lovely pink with a really good amount of brightness for Spring. Definitely representative of the theme of the collection. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Shown is two coats. It fully cured with the designated 60 seconds under my LED lamp. I had no issues with curing times. Pink Gellac: Cosmopolitan This is a bright medium coral with a bit of silver shimmer. The formula was a bit thicker with this polish, but still very easy to work with and great self-leveling. Shown is two coats. It fully cured with the designated 60 seconds under my LED lamp. I had no issues with curing times. Pink Gellac: Cloudy Blue I am all for this steel grey polish!!! My birthday is in April, in which is considered a month where it rains a lot, and rainy days are my favorite, so yeah! I love this color in the Spring. I thought this would be my favorite in the entire collection, because I absolutely love this color, but I had a surprise favorite (you'll soon know why). Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Shown is two coats. It fully cured with the designated 60 seconds under my LED lamp. I had no issues with curing times. Pink Gellac: Sugar White A surprise favorite!!! I really thought this would be just a white cream, but there's a frosty shimmer in there that is not streaky, AND theres a sparse amount of micro glitters that, to me, shift from white/silver, to pink, to blue! What I absolutely love about this polish (besides that I have nothing else in my entire polish, or gel polish collection) is that it looks beautiful as a one, two, or three coater. It is so versatile because it's sheer, but goes on evenly. I think this is a special color that can be worn for so many events, including weddings, or can be used as a base when you want that sheer white in the background, or to use for nail art! YEP! I am in love with this polish and I am super excited to have this in my collection. Shown is three coats. It fully cured with the designated 60 seconds under my LED lamp. I had no issues with curing times. Pink Gellac: Juicy Yellow This is a bright medium yellow. This is what I consider to be in the banana yellow color family, which I absolutely love. The formula is smooth and easy to apply, This did require three coats to get full opacity. It fully cured with the designated 60 seconds under my LED lamp. I had no issues with curing times. Pink Gellac: Tiffany Blue This is an aqua blue with green undertones, and also has some brightness to it. I absolutely love this color! Shown is two coats. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. It fully cured with the designated 60 seconds under my LED lamp. I had no issues with curing times. Pink Gellac: Tangerine Red This is a bright red with orange undertones. My photo picked up a lot of the orange, but depending on lighting, it can look more red in some, or more of the orange undertones in others. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Shown is two coats. It fully cured with the designated 60 seconds under my LED lamp. I had no issues with curing times. Overall, formulas are fantastic, I love the color choices, and like always, applying them is a dream, especially with the brush that comes in the bottle. (I truly hope that never changes).
Pink Gellac is a European based, soak-off gel polish, set to last 14+ days without chipping or peeling. For those who may not know, gel polish is a type of polish that only cures, or dries, with the use of a lamp that is especially made to cure gel products. This particular polish brand can be cured with either a UV lamp, or an LED lamp. The polishes fully cured with the designated 60 seconds under my LED lamp. Pink Gellac is available in the US through Chickette's Boutique, and available on their European site here. Thanks for reading :). <3 Mely
