Hello! I'm Cristina from @crisalvarado17 in Instagram :)t

My theme for 12 Days of Christmas is Decorations! And there are a lot of things that you could think about, like a mistletoe or a holy branch, lights, Christmas ornaments, balls, bows and many many other stuff, but of course, my mind screamed 'FLOWERRSS!!', and that's why I painted some poinsettias and added also some free handed baroque-ish design that complements perfectly these flowers.
But before I start talking about the design, I would love to share a simple swatch of the polish I used as base.

This is 'Lichen' by Cirque Colors and I'm wearing 2 thin coats and no top coat. It's a polish full tiny little flakes.

These flakes give it a multichrome effect that goes from green, passing through aquamarine, blue, purple and finishing with fuscia.

And now, finally the design! I decided to go with poinsettias because they are absolutely beautiful, so bright and red (the red ones, because there are other colors, but red are my favorites), and every time I see poinsettias I immediately think about Christmas, and they are flowers! And you now how I feel about flowers!! IN LOVE!! I'm like the crazy cat lady in The Simpsons but with flowers, haha!

To create this manicure, I applied my base polish and let it dry, then applied top coat and let it dry as well. This will aloud to remove the design if you make a mistake, because of course, I work with acrylic paints for detailing.

Acrilyc paints work beautifully and dry faster. I used white to paint the basic design, because this will make the colors pop on the dark background. The other colors used were red (three shades), green (two shades), yellow, light orange and gold.

About the tools I used, just a simple brush from a craft store that I trimmed to my like.

And just one more shot :)

I hope you like my idea for this theme!

I wish you all the most beautiful day, surrounded by your loved ones and lots of food

Merry Christmas!!
