Hello friends! Today I bring you the October Shimmer Me Box. In this box you get two vampy Fall shades, one that's a more neutral, and a bright Halloween appropriate shade. Okay, so for the deets: The Shimmer Me Box is a collaborative box that centers around polishes with a shimmer finish, between the polish brands: Native War Paints, Tux Polish, and Colors By Llarowe. Each box launch will be inspired by a theme, and will have one guest polish! All polishes are exclusive to this box. The October 2017 box, with the theme Horror Movies, will launch on 10/13/17 at 12 pm EDT through nativewarpaints.com. There will be a limited number available for immediate shipment at launch time. Once those sell out, the box will be available for pre-order for one week. Native War Paints: Friday the 13th A dark blue based purple with blue/purple/red shifting shimmer and a touch of red/gold micro flakes. Formula was really smooth and easy to apply. Shown is 3 coats plus top coat. Colors By Llarowe: Never Sleep Again Black crelly base with red shimmer and flake. Multichrome that shifts red to gold to slight grey. Another fantastic formula. This was highly pigmented, but still needed two coats for full opacity, just to cover any bald spots left by the first coat. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Tux Polish: The Exorcist A green leaning grey base with yellow-gold shimmer. This is the "neutral" shade in the box, yet still has some glowing effect to it. Grey is always a great go-to color in the Fall for a business/work shade, and this one just has that extra flare with the shimmer. The formula was easy to work with, just a bit runny, so make sure your brush isn't loaded, or it will pool. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. Different Dimension: The Silence Of The Lambs Monarch Orange jelly based polish with golden shimmers. This polish screams October to me! It's the perfect pumpkin orange, but there is so much going on in the shimmer that it takes on a glowing shimmering effect. The shimmer looks turquoise at some angles, and gold/orange at others. Very unique. Formula was not difficult to work with, but you do have be aware of your brush strokes to get the shimmer to be straight. Hope you enjoy this one!
Thanks for reading <3 Mely
