Hello! Today I have another box filled with gorgeous colors full of shimmer to share with you. Take note...  Okay, so for the deets: The Shimmer Me Box is a collaborative box that centers around polishes with a shimmer finish, between the polish brands: Native War Paints, Tux Polish, and Colors By Llarowe. Each box launch will be inspired by a theme, and will have one guest polish! All polishes are exclusive to this box. Native War Paints: Lay in the Fallen Leaves First up, a gorgeous neutral with a strong overall fuchsia toned shimmer, and it's so pretty. This is very much in line with the recent Nude Attitude Collection that was recently released by Native War Paints. Formula was perfect! Ultra smooth, easy to apply, self-leveled great, and dried fast. I did have to do 3 coats to reach full opacity, but that doesn't bother me at all. Colors By Llarowe: Falling to Pieces Oh my goodness,I love this polish... this is such a rich inky blue polish with a turquoise shimmer, that is actually very strong. I was not able to capture the shimmer in its full glory, because its that shimmer that disappears in the photos when the light hits it. To get any shade other than blue was tricky, but I promise you in person it's there, and so pretty. It gives the blue a beautiful depth. This polish is highly pigmented and I did have the slightest blue hue staining to my nails when I removed this. I only wore it for the few minutes of swatching, so please be mindful that it may stain. Formula was smooth and easy to apply, self-leveled great, and dried fast. Shown is two coats plus top coat for full opacity. Tux Polish: Love Potion No. Wine This is a beautiful concord grape polish with holo glitter, and a sprinkle of copper and pink micro glitter. The formula is thin, but still very smooth and easy to work with. I would just advise being careful with amount of polish on the brush, if there's too much it will run down and pool at the nail. I had no problems with self levilg and dry time was fast. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. Guest polish* Savannah Lacquer: Take Me Apple Picking A gorgeous burnt apple red with a very strong green shimmer, and micro holo glitter. This was another polish that I could not capture how gorgeous or strong the green shimmer actually is. Again, it would hide in my light in the photos. I chose to add a bottle shot in my video because I was able to capture it there. Formula was very smooth and easy to apply, no problems self-leveling, and dried fast. Shown is two coats plus top coat. I wore this polish for about 2 days and when I removed it i did note some yellow staining to my nail. It wasn't a lot but it was noticeable.
