Hi Friends! Today I have for you the new Zoya Spring 2017 collection, which consists of 6 different polishes... and of course, I also have a live swatch video for you to enjoy ;). Zoya: Lacey This is described as a light green micro-sparkle. This was a polish that, in the bottle, I was not impressed, and really didn't think I'd care at all for the color, but the softness, along with the muted green, and the shimmer glitter in this really make it beautiful on the nails! Formula was smooth, self-leveling, and dry time was good. Shimmer streaks in photos are not really apparent on the nail in person. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Zoya: Amira This is described as a light blue micro-sparkle. This is a light slate blue, which is one of my favorite colors, with the same shimmer throughout as the previous polish. Another one that I think looks so soft and lovely on the nails. Formula was smooth, self-leveling, and dry time was good. Shimmer streaks in photos are not really apparent on the nail in person. Shown is two coats plus top coat, however, after I took the photos I noted some lighter spots, so depending on your application of coats, you may need three if you want full opacity. Zoya: Abby This is a light lavender cream polish, very much on the cool toned side. Formula was smooth and easy to apply, however I found the second coat to go on smoothly with a thicker coat. Dry time was good. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Zoya: Jordon This is a pale pink cream polish. Light pinks always seem to agree with my skin tone, and this one was no exception. (Side note, my skin tone looks different in the photos, I know! But it's because I care more that the polishes are closer to actual color than my skin. Different colors bring different tones out). Formula was smooth and similar to that of Abby with thicker coats, however, I noted that even with a second thicker coat, I had some lighter spots because self-leveling was not as smooth, so I did end up needing a third coat for full opacity. It's still not difficult to work with and dry time was good. Shown is 3 coats plus top coat. Zoya: Tina This is described as a medium amethyst cream. This color reminds me of purple orchid. This is the brightest cream from the collection. This cream formula was the best, in my opinion. Was vey smooth and easy to apply. Dry time and self-leveling were good. Shown is 2 coats plus top coat. Zoya: Millie This is described as a violet micro-shimmer. I think the base of this is magenta, and it's loaded with pink and blue shimmer glitter, which bounces off and gives it that violet tone. Formula was smooth, self-leveling, and dry time was good. Shimmer streaks in photos are not really apparent on the nail in person. Shown is two coats plus top coat. The Zoya Charming Collection is available at Zoya's website. I really hope you enjoyed this post and the live swatch video. I like doing the videos because it allows you to see for yourself, and judge based on what you see, what the formula looks like when applying. I always keep it in real time so you can see how I work the strokes. Thanks for reading <3 Mely
