H Friends! So... today I have the Zoya Urban Grunge Collection for Fall 2016 consisting of 6 one coat creams, and 6 metallic, holographic polishes! I know you guys have already seen these polishes around, and my biggest excitement was to try the one coat creams for myself! Continue reading below :) So, first up, I have the live swatch video! I'd like to point out that on the first two polishes, I tried doing my usual thin coats, but on the third swatch, I decided to go a bit thicker than my usual application, and let me tell you, these creams applied on so wonderfully. Because even with my thicker coats, the polish was not thick, goopy, nor hard to apply. It actually was very smooth, and self-leveling was great! Another great thing about the formula of the creams in general, was that they did not take long to dry, and were great at self-leveling! The second half of the video is the metallics and holographic polishes. Zoya: Courtney This is a nice deep maroon cream color. Shown is 2 thin coats plus top coat. Polish was easy to apply. Dry time was quick , and self-leveling was great. Zoya: Tara This was my favorite of the creams because of the beautiful, rich and deep color. To me it looks like a purple mixed with fuchsia, and it's just so lovely. Shown is 2 thin coats plus top coat. Polish was easy to apply. Dry time was quick , and self-leveling was great. Zoya: Mallory This is a bright blue cream polish. I was surprised of this shade in a Fall collection, but blue is my favorite color, so I am really happy to see it anyway. I think that it's a refreshing tone of color to see mixed in with the Fall tones. Shown is one coat plus top coat. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was quick , and self-leveling was great. Zoya: Wyatt A mid green cream polish, that I think goes hand in hand with the tone of Mallory. Putting these colors together makes me feel like doing a plaid mani! Shown is one coat plus top coat. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was quick , and self-leveling was great. Zoya: August A beautiful mid-grey cream polish. If you are looking for that perfect mid-tone grey, this is a great one to get, since it's a one-coater. Shown is one coat plus top coat. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was quick , and self-leveling was great. Zoya: Noah This is what I can best describe as a sandy egg-shell cream color. As far as formula, I believe this felt the thickest, probably because it has the most white pigment, but it still was a dream to work with. Shown is one coat plus top coat. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was quick , and self-leveling was great. Now we move on to the metallic and glitter holographic polishes! Zoya: Ash A beautiful bright red metallic polish with a pink undertone. This polish also has a flash of gold metallic sparkle that you can catch at certain angles. Definitely has some depth as it looks darker in certain angles. There is a slight hint of glitter sparkle that is sparse, and you can make out in direct sunlight, but it's not very strong. Shown is one coat plus top coat. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was quick , and self-leveling was great. Zoya: Britta I really love this berry-with gold flash metallic polish, which just like Ash, has depth at different angles. This one also has a sparkle to it in direct sunlight, that is still sparse, but more noticeable than with Ash. Shown is one coat plus top coat. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was quick , and self-leveling was great. Zoya: Alicia This is such a beautiful polish and definitely one of my favorites! This was the only polish where the metallic and the holo both felt strong. You can see the silver with the strong gold shifting flash, along with the strong linear holographic glitter. This one is a bit sheer, and shown is two coats plus top coat. You can still see the nail line faintly in some lighting, but it wasn't enough to bother me. In the video, you can see that at some angles it looks fully opaque :). Shown is two coats plus top coat. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was quick , and self-leveling was great. Zoya: Troy A deep gunmetal metallic polish! Gunmetal is one of my favorite metallic finishes, especially when the grey leans a bit towards a purple undertone. I may be crazy, but that's what I see... even if it's the slightest bit. It also reminds me of taffeta gunmetal color bridesmaids dresses! I love this as a Fall color because worn alone, it can go with anything, I feel. I did two coats to cover up any streaks. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was quick , and self-leveling was great. Now, these last two polishes are so beautiful!! They are micro scattered holographic glitter in a tinted base. They remind me a lot of Zoya Dream, which is one of my all-time favorite blue polishes. Zoya: Finley A gorgeous grape purple with silver scattered holographic glitter. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was quick , and self-leveling was great. This polish dries glossy and smooth on it's own, but I still applied top coat for the slightest bit of bumps from the glitter. Zoya: Merida My favorite of them all! This is an emerald green with silver scattered holographic glitter. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Formula was smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was quick , and self-leveling was great. This polish dries glossy and smooth on it's own, but I still applied top coat for the slightest bit of bumps from the glitter. Zoya is a brand of polish that I have loved since the beginning of my polish obsession, and I am so stoked to have been able to swatch and review this collection for you! So which colors did you pick up? Or which one is your favorite
