Hi all!
I am Lex, better known as @stormandstars on Instagram or for my blog stormandstars.net. I was so excited when Mely asked me to be a part of her holiday nail art challenge! I have seen some wonderful nail art during this challenge so far and I do hope you enjoy what I have for you. My prompt for the challenge was Rudolph! I love creating abstract nail art from more concrete ideas, so when I got Rudolph as my prompt one of my first ideas was to make some abstract nails based on my all time favorite Rudolph movie with the Island of Misfit Toys.

Hello everyone! My name is Pamela and I blog at pamelapomelo.blogspot.com. I had the honor to participate on Mely's 12 Days of Christmas Challenge last year and I was thrilled when she asked me to participate again this year! Thank you so much hun! My theme is Santa's Workshop <3 I knew I would be using lots of red, green and white, so I took out 'French Tip' by Color Club, 'Hearty' by Sally Hansen and 'In the money' by Revlon. I pictured a big sign on the door, so that idea went straight to my index finger. Next I thought of cute elf socks, and I drew long ones on my middle and ring fingernails. Of course, candy cane and presents couldn't be left out! I mean.. It's Santa's workshop!
Hello fellow nail art lovers!
My name is Amy McG and I have met you all here last year for Mely’s 12 Days of Christmas Challenge. I blog about indie polish and nail art at PolishEtc.com and on Instagram as my alter ego McPolish. I love doing nail art and was honored that Mely asked me to join her blog again this year for the #12DOCC! I wanted to do presents this year. I have been wanting to use striping tape on my nails for ever and thought that pretty wrapped Christmas presents was the perfect way to do that. I have used striping tape to create nail art designs before, but had never used it on my actual nails for a mani. So silly of me! Hello friends!
Today I have for you a Winter Wonderland themed mani for my 12 Days of Christmas Challenge! Hello Everyone, Today I am sharing another super quick post! I actually did this cute design on a friend, and decided to include it as my prompt for the Christmas tree theme for the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge. This mani is definitely cute and festive, with a super clean edge to it! I really enjoyed doing this manicure! I used Painted Polish by Lexi's 'Ho Ho Ho-lo' (purchased by me) as the red polish, which is a gorgeous red jelly packed with red and silver glitter. For the ring finger, I painted on the Christmas tree with three different green colors of acrylic paint, then added the gold garland using Bonita Colors 'Golden Girl' (sent to me as a press sample), and used some different colored glitters as the baubles! Isn't it cute?
No video tutorial for this one, however, if I have time on the weekend, I may create a quick one if people request it. Thanks for stopping by! <3 Mely |
